Beginning my journey~

                                                                                                                                                         

                                             Hi... My name is Banana.  I am 6 years young.. My human parents saved me from a life of uncertainty~ When I was just a little girl, my Cat mommy gave birth to me and a few others... we were born outside, in the yard of a young couple, who had probably 100 cats or more running around all over the place.. There were other Mama cats there too, who took turns having babies.. there were just so many others, that I was so confused as to who was my family~  One day this man came to work on the property.. His name was Byron.. well I really liked the sound of Byron's voice, and I started to hang around him.. he then started to talk to me.. I felt like I had made a good friend.. he was the only human that had ever paid attention to me, ever..  so each day he would come to work.. I would kind of just hang around him and hear him talk.. Then one day, he brought another human along with him.. I, being a curious kitty, thought I would just introduce myself with a little, meow... she looked down at me, then started talking back to me~  I did not know who she was, yet, Bryon was there, and I felt safe.. then, to my surprise, this lady picked me up!! Oh my! It felt so good to be in the arms of this lady.. her voice was as wonderful to hear, as Byron's voice was too.  Byron and her were talking together for a bit while she held me..  I could feel something strange was happening~ The next thing I knew, I was inside of the big thing that they got out of when they arrived!! Oh my goodness, what is going on, I thought.. I had a feeling of comfort though, for this lady, who's name I found out was, Melanie,  held me tight, talked to me gently and helped me to feel as ease~ We were going on a journey.. a life adventure!! Turns out, the journey we were making, was to my forever home!! I'm a little tired now, yet am excited to share more with you.  I will fill you in on my arrival to my new home and family~
